Garment value chains are one of the biggest employers worldwide, with 150 million people\u2019s lives touched by the global apparel industry. 75% of global garment workers are women*. The majority of\u00a0 women working in the fashion and textile industries are poorly paid and unskilled.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Funded by the European Union and in collaboration with The Do, the UN Women Industry Disruptor<\/strong> is an acceleration program in India launched in May 2020. It provides female entrepreneurs and female-led enterprises active in the sustainable fashion and lifestyle industries with access to mentorship, investors, and the opportunity to grow ideas and increase impact through scaling their ventures.<\/p>
