Sustainability in fashion has become an imperative in today’s world, with an increasing focus on minimizing environmental impact and promoting ethical practices across the industry. In this context, the final event of the Refashion project, held on November 30, 2023, in Larissa, brought together a diverse audience, including students of Business Administration, Design, and Eco-Fashion, along with esteemed professors and members of the general public. The event served as a platform to showcase the comprehensive work undertaken in the project, emphasizing its three core themes: raw materials and textiles, design and production, and circular fashion in practice.<\/span><\/p>

The entire scope of the Refashion project was presented during the event, with a keen focus on the interconnection of its themes. The audience gained valuable insights into the intricacies of sustainable fashion, ranging from the sourcing of raw materials and textiles to the design and production processes, with a particular emphasis on the practical application of circular fashion principles. One highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Consumer Guide, a valuable resource designed to empower consumers with the knowledge needed to make sustainable choices.<\/span><\/p>

Throughout the proceedings, practical examples of companies successfully integrating circular processes into their operations were shared, providing tangible models for sustainability in the fashion industry. These examples not only showcased the feasibility of adopting eco-friendly practices but also emphasized the positive impact such initiatives can have on both the environment and the bottom line of businesses.<\/span><\/p>

The event concluded with an engaging discussion involving participants from diverse backgrounds. Attendees were encouraged to share their perspectives on the current state of sustainability, particularly within the context of fashion, in the city of Larissa.
