The National Centre for Sustainable Production and Consumption is a non-profit organization, fully committed to contribute to the development of sustainable consumption and production patterns in Romania, by raising awareness amongst businesses, public institutions and other organizations regarding the need for increasing resource efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of their products, services and operations, building capacity in resource efficiency and circular economy for enterprises and government institutions, providing support and advisory and facilitating access to information.
Innovation Hive is a private non-profit organization located in Greece, specialized in the fields of research and innovation. Our actions aim to enhance the economic and social cohesion of European societies while our goal is to find solutions to the new innovation challenges, achieve growth, sustainability and maximize the impact to the society. The organization’s philosophy in order to achieve these goals is based on co-creation methodologies and a quadruple helix approach. The engagement of stakeholders from industry, science and society is aiming to create links between the businesses, the academia and the civic actors in order to develop a combination of knowledge, skills, tools, values and motivation. The final goal is to make the difference in local societies and to succeed at the highest level the principles of social innovation concepts.
CRIES (Resources Center for Ethical and Solidarity-Based Initiatives) is one of the first organizations involved in the
promotion of social and solidarity economy in Romania. CRIES was established in 2009 following a participatory process involving the community in Timisoara. The organization developed as a resource center, with the main areas of action being participatory democracy, community-supported agriculture, fair trade, social inclusion enterprises, responsible consumption and ethical financing.
From the beginning, the association enjoyed the support and partnership of several European Platforms: ENSIE (European
Network Social Integration Enterprises), IRIS Platform, RIPESS Europe, URGENCI, WFTO Europe (World Fair Trade
Organization). CRIES is a founding member of RIPESS Europe and member of Romanian Network of Social Integration Enterprises (RISE).
Our objectives:
1. to increase the ability of the institutional, social and economic stakeholders to act in the field of social economy and
sustainable development;
2. to increase the participation of citizens in the promotion, development and strengthening of ethical financing, responsible
consumption, fair trade, solidarity-based economy;
3. to facilitate the active participation of marginalized people, through the social economy (e.g. social enterprises, working
integration social enterprises, cooperatives, or other innovative forms of social and solidarity-based economy).
MIITR is a non-profit organisation working to build a just and sustainable world through its network of many public organisations (working with municipalities, ministries, government agencies, universities and other public institutions), NGOs, businesses and other partners. It develops sustainable business strategies and solutions through consultancy and cross-sectoral cooperation. MIITR is made up of a team of experts with a high level of expertise, skills and competences in sustainable development and the circular economy, as well as in project management, promotion and information dissemination activities. Our diverse experience makes us a strong and reliable partner for EU projects. We have extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of European research programmes and projects. We are recognised for our knowledge and expertise and work with companies, researchers and decision makers. MIITR believes that a just and sustainable world will emerge when the unique skills and resources of all sectors, including business, society and government, are focused on this goal. We believe that systemic progress towards a just and sustainable world can be achieved by integrating sustainability into strategy and action and by fostering collaboration between organisations, businesses and their stakeholders.

Effebi Association is an Italian non-profit organization set up in 1976. The Board of Directors is composed by HR and training Managers from the main Italian Banks. Effebi organises a variety of activities in the field of Human Resources and Organisational Development mainly for the banking and financial sector. Through its work, the Association strives to enhance the exchange of good practices and knowledge and collaboration with other organizations at national, European and International level.
At international level, EFFEBI is founder member of EBTN – European Banking and Financial Services Training Association keeping significant relationships with other Institutions, Associations, Universities, Colleges, Enterprises and Bodies active in the field of HR Management and Development. In EBTN is member of the Financial Literacy Committee aimed at upgrading the financial literacy of citizens through financial education.
In addition, it is a Member of European forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET) that is one of the leading European-wide professional associations which has been created by, and for, Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers.
At national level, Effebi is Member of FEDERMANAGEMENT – Italian Federation of Management’s Associations – which promotes the renewal of the managerial and leadership’s culture and cope with the globalization and the digital revolution. It also contributes to the collaboration and exchange of ideas and best practices among the Members; improve managerial culture, also beyond professional roles.
Finally, Effebi is Founding Member of the Centre for Research and European Studies – Future Business (CRES). CRES aims to realise studies, researches and European projects in order to improve active citizenship and promote European Policies in Education and Training areas.
